HIV/AIDS is an issue that I have at heart, and I became aware and involved at the age of 16, volunteering with youth organizations that support people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA’s). I worked in many areas of peer education and counseling. I started experiencing what partnership means, and how important this is with HIV/AIDS. For me, inspiration can be found among many challenges, either positive or negative. In the case of positive challenges, I have been inspired by good manners, which I have used to tackle and handle problems for which I have also received recognition. My personal achievements have also positively inspired me since it has resulted in the improvement of living standards among many poor communities.
